California Real Estate
We’ve blogged about buying a CA house before, so hopefully this post will come to fruition this time – we close on a house in Rancho Santa Margarita (a mouthful, yes – just say Rancho like the locals) in just a few days. Yeah! Claire is excited to have a room of her own again that she can paint, and the rest of us are excited for real grass in the backyard (it’s brown now, but hopefully water will heal it). We are SO happy to stay in the same ward and school we already love. Come and visit us!

The Cubs Win the Pennant! The Cubs Win the Pennant!
The Cubs ended the season un-defeated at 8-0. Of course, score was not kept during the games, but we still played very well. Coach K was stunned at the progress throughout the year. The players drastically improved their fielding skills and made huge improvement in batting. By the end of the season, we were not even putting the ball on the tee anymore. We would pitch to the players and every player was hitting the ball. A great season for the Cubs.

Back Row: Coach K, Riley, Ben, Adam, Rachel, Scottie. Front Row: Logan, Jonathan, Joshua, Carter, Hammerin' Hank, Hayden.

Henry finally becomes a Jedi
We took Kerry’s mom Ellen to Disneyland for the first time on Monday. She must have brought good luck with her because after several failed attempts to have Henry chosen for the Jedi Training show, his dream fianally came true! P.S. the woman laughing and yelling in the background is Ellen:)

Double Meat Boy
On the last few trips to our Saturday traditional lunch meal at In-n-Out, Henry had complained that one burger was insufficient to fulfil his hunger cravings. So this time we got him a double-double (minus tomato, onion, and lettuce) and to our surprise, he downed the whole thing. You should have seen the incredible sight we saw in the toilet the next day.
